About SMFK

SMFK is a fashion brand founded in 2016 that spreads its philosophy of "rough, real, and raw" through its designs and continuously produces more and better products in the face of the demand for renewal. SMFK commits to its follower that "no discount forever" and "not for sale" express its aim at high-quality designs and products. As a growing brand, SMFK's collection has become a firm favorite with the young generation and a list of celebrities, including Winnie Harlow, Bella Hadid, Adrianne Ho, Jessi, and Jennie. 

Project Introduction​

SMFK expresses its new theme of 2023 "Wild World" through its 1990s retro academic style,  contemporary sporty style, as well as a small amount of wild natural style with more visual impact. In this project, the VX brand consulting team put together a detailed influencer marketing plan along SMFK's theme, emphasizing individuals' unique value and potential. The VX influencers in the collaborations present such concepts thoroughly and meet with a positive reception from followers.

Conclusion

As SMFK's first campaign in the USA, VX Media helped them reach a large and targeted audience more organically and authentically. By partnering with substantial creators, SMFK can tap into the influencer's community and increase its visibility in the overseas market.

SMFK's challenge was to leverage its brand's aesthetics to establish awareness in the US market. Regarding SMFK's primary focus on talents' styles, VX Media proposed a list of influencers and confirmed two creators who embody the brand's beliefs and values for this launching campaign. Their unique social media content led to a successful campaign, receiving 69K likes and 22K engagements. It's evident that we consistently achieve outstanding outcomes by making intelligent business decisions.

The result demonstrates the power of influencer marketing in putting a brand's name out there. Rising brand awareness in a new country isn't an easy thing. However, not just the presence of a brand's name on social media produces positive results, but the influencers behind it who can drive success. With creative strategies and engaging content creators, SMFK has made its first step successfully in North America.
